Mountain pilates

Mountain air, mountain tea, mountain pilates.

September 15, 2026

Upon the rugged, timbered peak,

Where thin air bites and spirits rise,

We find the grounding strength we seek

Beneath the vast, unmoving skies.

‍

The granite stands in quiet grace,

A monument to steady bone,

While in this high, suspended place,

The breath and beating heart align.

‍

From deep within, the powerhouse fires,

A core as fierce as tectonic shift,

As lengthening limbs, like alpine spires,

Reach out to let the posture lift.

‍

The carriage moves, a smooth control,

Against the mountain’s wild decree,

Engaging center, mind, and soul,

To match the valley’s symmetry.

‍

We pull, we press, we find the length,

Like roots that grip the sheer cliffside,

Discovering a quiet strength

Where peace and gravity collide.

‍

Oh, peak of balance, high and pure,

Where breath meets altitude and stone,

You teach the body to endure,

And make the mountain’s power our own.
